The Duke's Daring Debutante

A Beresford Abbey Story

Ann Lethbridge delivers a delightful historical romance with the Duke's Daring Debutante. Minette Rideau is not the average London miss, I loved her bold behavior which was evident from the very beginning. The fact that she has secrets and also has to hide her true feelings made me admire her actions and attitude. The Duke of Falconwood is the epitome of the brooding hero and when I discovered some of his secrets I easily lost my heart. He is a truly worthy gentleman and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next between these two as each page was turned. While I'm a huge fan of the traditional sweet romance I rather enjoyed getting a glimpse into some seedier sections of their world. The supporting cast were entertaining as well as instrumental to the story and I appreciated how much depth they added to the lead character's personalities. If you are a fan of historical romance I highly recommend you pick this one up. I'm looking forward to many more offerings by this talented author.

Only one man can help Minette Rideau but it will not be easy for her to convince the Duke of Falconwood to take part in her plans even if it does mean capturing an enemy of the crown. Only his friend's beautiful young sister-in-law has the power to make him forget himself and he finds himself offering marriage when they are found in a compromising condition. Now Freddy must protect his country and his heart.
