Eve Langlais once again delivers a delightfully entertaining and adventurous shifter romance. Okay I’ll admit it, my humor is in line with a 14 year old boy so I love the acronyms of these two agencies and they made me giggle throughout the book. Clarice is one kick butt heroine and I loved her no nonsense attitude and lifestyle. In fact I want to be her when I grow up. Dr. Nolan is the epitome of everything I find fascinating with felines only it’s packaged in one gorgeous man. I adore him! I kept my fingers crossed the whole time that things would work out between this unusual couple and I had a blast watching them circle each other while dealing with the dangers of the situation. I have never been disappointed by this author! She has a clever voice and humorous style that I always look forward to. She knows just when to turn up the heat and just when to make me chuckle out loud, seriously a cat and a bird can get up to so much mischief. If you want to be thoroughly entertained then I suggest you pick this one up.
When the Furry United Coalition’s dedicated doctor is threatened by a maniacal escaped patient the Avian Soaring Security offers help to flush out the crazy offender. Nolan doesn’t need protecting, as the pampered only male of his pride he knows he is guarded from danger but he can’t help but enjoy ruffling the feathers of the bird shifter assigned to protect him. Clarice would rather be back at her old job not babysitting a lazy kitty. She’s beyond surprised to find that even in the midst of danger she wants to do more than scratch the big cat behind his ears and make him purr
Given the choice between dealing with a psycho killer, a meddling mother, and an all too sexy falcon, this poor doctor does what any sane lion would do—he takes a nice, long nap.
Avian Soaring Security has transferred Clarice to the Furry United Coalition so she can help track some escaped psycho patients. As if that weren’t bad enough, they partnered her with the very pampered Dr. Manners. Everything about the attractive feline annoys her, except for his flaming hot kisses. But is passion enough to keep a usually sparring species together?
Nolan’s pedigree isn’t the only thing preventing him from falling for his sexy partner. She’s bossy, violent, rude and oh so intriguing to this curious cat, but his meddlesome mother will never allow him to get involved with a bird. But before he can decide if love is worth bucking pride tradition, he needs to stay out of the clutches of a demented ex-patient.
