Kate Curran presents readers a heartwarming contemporary romance with Leave Me Breathless. C.J. Pulaski is such a strong leading lady and she was so very easy to relate to. I loved that she was so strong, where as a lot of people in her situation would have given up or possibly hidden away but she faced her situation with courage and a straightforwardness that was refreshing to witness. Nate Cole is the kind of man we all want to end up with. He is well-liked and self assured and yet he isn't perfect. He is authentic, appealing in his realism. The small town of Conspiracy is amazingly entertaining, filled with unique and average inhabitants and I'd love to visit and attend a meeting of the Trench Coat Brigade. The descriptions of the lovely location has me planning my next vacation to the California coast. If you are looking for a wonderful story to take you away from your everyday this is a great choice; skillfully written and full of enjoyable characters and beautiful descriptions you'll want to read it in one sitting.
The circumstances that lead to her being fired leave journalist C.J. Pulaski disgraced but not down, so she returns back to her small hometown to rebuild her life surrounded by those who know her best. After his own problems, police chief Nate Cole moved to Conspiracy can this small town and its inhabitants heal these two wounded hearts and give them a future together?
