Gods Gone Wild is one divine collection. As a lover of Greek mythology this was a no brainer pick for me and I'm so glad I chose it. I'm familiar with all three of the authors in this anthology. I've enjoyed many of their books in the past.
In Great Zeus by Dalton Diaz we meet a reincarnated Pandora, now fittingly named Hope and her husband Titan Epimetheus. I enjoyed the bond between the Titan and his wife. He knows her flaws and yet loves her just as she is. This story held a fantastic mixture of love and laughter, both which kept me gasping and flipping the pages to find out just what would happen next.
Ashlyn Chase introduces readers to the Demi-god Dionysus in Oh My God and I've never thought I'd see that fellow at an AA meeting and falling for such a conventional woman like Mandy. It's been day's since I finished this story and I'm still smiling at the situation he found himself in.
In Goddess In Training, the bonus story by Terry Spear, we have a virtuous librarian and the God of desire. I loved witnessing his reactions to Lisandra.
This was a highly enjoyable trio of stories and I highly recommend them for anyone look for a light and lively read with just that added bit of steam.
Three books in one!
In Great Zeus! by Dalton Diaz even Titan's better not mess with Zeus' love life, which is how Epimetheus finds himself living as a mortal, working for a jerk and then his reincarnated wife shows up.
In Oh My God by Ashlyn Chase the Greek God of alcohol ends up with amnesia when he parties just a little too hardy. Dionysus might never know what hits him when he falls for a lovely single-mother.
In Goddess in Training by Terry Spear Assarian the Demi-god of pleasure is assigned to initiate lovely librarian Lisandra.
Two Gods are in big trouble with Zeus. Gods will be gods and when these two taunt Pele for their own entertainment, she erupts, literally, creating a whole new Hawaiian island. But Zeus is not amused and must teach them a lesson they won't forget. Who knew their punishment would lead to finding the loves of their lives?
Great Zeus! (Dalton Diaz)
Epimetheus knows he screwed up. Well, he knows it since Zeus pointed it out with a lightning bolt or two. He’s willing to take his punishment like a Titan, but all bets are off when his beloved dead wife Pandora shows up. Pandy has no memory of him. Epimetheus has no powers, and no forethought. What could possibly go wrong?
Oh My God (Ashlyn Chase) Rewritten and expanded version of 2009 Eppie nominee, same title
The Greek God of wine, women, and party, falls off a balcony during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Now he has amnesia. All he knows is that they call him 'Big D', and he drinks too much and ought to give up alcohol for Lent.
Mandy and Brenda flashed Dionysus right before he fell. They're nice enough to take him to an AA meeting, and then back to their homes until he recovers his memory. Fortunately, they're not too nice to be naughty.
Bonus Story: Goddess in Training (Terry Spear) Previously published 2010 Indie, same title
In a game of the gods, librarian Lisandra, who has never been loved, is chosen to be the goddess of fertility. The demi-god of pleasure, Assarian is ordered by Zeus to train her in the hallowed halls of Mount Olympus to prove to his wife, Hera, goddess of marriage, mortals and immortals alike only need be physically satisfied to find fulfillment, to which Hera disagrees—all creatures must have love to be whole.
