Tiffany Allee definitely knows how to entertain with this fabulously fun paranormal romance. Alice Shepard grabbed my attention from the first page and her sunshiny personality kept my attention until the very end. I loved just how bubbly she was without being overbearing or annoying. I honestly have no idea how Noah could have held out for as long as he did. Brooding must be a requirement as vampires age yet the hero is way more sultry than sulky so it was fine by me. On a personal note I loved the allergic to the sun ploy, but as someone who does have this allergy I could easily commiserate with Noah, but I’ve never thought drinking blood would make it feel better! The setting for this story was spectacular adding elements to the story that just wouldn’t have been available anywhere else. I enjoyed looking at the cruise ship through the vampire’s eyes and I loved experiencing all the activities the wedding party had planned. The supporting characters added to the pleasure and I must admit how much I want to be just like Alice’s mom when I grow up. I’d love to see Alice’s brother get his love life straightened out and lord help the girl who falls for Noah’s sexy brother.
Alice Shepard loves her sister however she is not looking forward to her sibling’s destination wedding. Alice hasn’t seen her ex-fiancé since she caught him with her former best friend, and now there’s no avoiding him as his brother is marrying her sister and he’s the best man. Determined to convince everyone she’s happily moved on she asks her sexy neighbor to be her fake boyfriend. Noah Thorpe is a vampire with his own wedding woes so to avoid an arranged marriage he agrees to spend a week on a sun-filled cruise ship, but can he keep his hands, lips and teeth off Alice?
Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancé rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill—even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day—and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business. Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time. What could possibly go wrong?
