An Appointment With Murder

A Sarah Woods Mystery, #1

Jennifer L. Jennings delivers readers right into a murder mystery and they can’t help but go along with the heroine’s adventure. Sarah Woods is not your typical investigator which makes for a charming and interesting escapade. The main reason I picked up this story was because the leading lady was a mature woman, I find that as I get older I want to read about heroines who have similar life issues as it is easier to relate to them. The variety of the cast of characters kept me quickly turning the pages to see what any one of them would say or do next. I would have liked to delve a bit deeper into the personalities of some as I wanted to get to know them better. I will say that I was left wanting a little more which was such a smart way to hook me for the next book in the series. I cannot wait to see just what Sarah decides to do with her life. If you are looking for a fast and fun mystery this is a good choice.
