Ghost Story

Peter Straub can definitely spin a tale. Ghost Story is a scary, horror turn of events that will have the reader attempting to connect the dots all the way through. The beginning will pull you in and leave you wanting more. The characters are well developed and easy to relate to. The old men who created their own 'society' that entailed telling ghost stories were my favorite. This is a very long book and there are so many different parts that it's a bit overwhelming. Some of those parts seemed long and I wanted the action to hurry up and fit into the rest of the story. I must say that I didn't want to put this one down. Scary? Yes. It all comes down to an explanation of why, who and where. Read on and all will be revealed, or will it? That's what makes this book so much fun to read.
