Drug of Choice

Hard Case Crime

Mr. Crichton begins Drug of Choice with a police chase that makes the characters come alive. Readers will be pulled into the storyline from page one. The characters at the hospital were some of my favorites, with their quirks and unique personalities, but it wouldn’t be a crime novel without a sexpot and Sharon Wilder fits the bill. From magazines to the big screen, she does it all, until she falls into a coma. And so the mystery begins. Dr. Roger Clark is a bit too curious for his own good and this makes for a great adventure. He takes the reader along for the ride to a secret Caribbean island. The transitions and transformations created in this novel are intriguing. The plot twists kept my attention until the very last page. I recommend Drug of Choice to readers who want a quick, afternoon read with a touch of mysterious crime inserted.
