"Under The Mistletoe" by Jill Shalvis is just a sneak peek into Mia's- Tara & Ford's daughter- life after five years away from Lucky Harbor. In those few years she has become a woman, a woman that I fell in love with instantly. Nick is the man who is lucky enough to have captured Mia's heart.
The things that I absolutely loved about this book are, being able to catch up with all of the families from the first three books. But I also got to know a new couple and had the opportunity to fall in love with them as they found their love for each other. Though this book was incredibly short I didn't feel rushed at any point and I felt as if this story had a heartwarming Christmas feel.
Mia and Nick's relationship is beginning to bloom, but when Nick refuses to accompany Mia to a family wedding she begins to think of Nick as no more than just another man set to have sex with her and refuse any emotions deeper than lust. Hurt and deflated Mia returns to her family’s hometown of Lucky Harbor. Will a heroic show of love save this relationship or has it already died?
JUST ONE MORE KISS There's no place like home for the holidays. And the Lucky Harbor Bed & Breakfast is bursting with festive lights and good cheer. But for Mia, Christmas is turning out to be anything other than merry and bright. Her recent break-up with her boyfriend Nick has made her return bittersweet. But then a surprise arrives, when Nick follows her to town bearing gifts-and asking for forgiveness. Nick grew up without a family of his own so he's overwhelmed by the love that Mia receives from all her relatives, gathered together to celebrate the season. Under their watchful eyes, Nick finds earning back her trust the hardest thing he's ever had to do. If he succeeds, he will receive the greatest gift of all, Mia's love for a lifetime.
