"Sun God Seeks...Surrogate" is the next installment in Ms. Pamfiloff's Accidentally Yours series, and boy did the story heat up! This book was filled with great humor, an awesome romance, and once again a meddling Cimil. This very well may be my new favorite of the series. But right now I'm really wishing I had the next book! That ending....how? Why?
Why didn't I come prepared? I need the next book now!
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a lighthearted romance. With a smokin' hot sun god how could you go wrong? My only suggestion is to read this series in order because there are important things revealed that may not make much sense if you haven't followed the story from the beginning.
Penelope has a lot on her plate, a sick mother and she is working as much as she can to pay for her mothers care. That is until a woman promises her 1 million dollars if she agrees to have her brothers kid. Sure the money is a big incentive but she doesn't need to add yet another person to her life to cause problems. But everything changes when she catches a glimpse of her supposed mate.
Nick or Kinich has always despised humans, and wants nothing to do with them. Or at least until he meets Penelope, his sister's choice in surrogate mother for his offspring. Betrayal isn't the only thing causing problems, Nick has come to see the pleasures in being with humans and now he must choose between love and right or wrong.
A Deal from Heaven Living in New York City, Penelope Trudeau has seen a lot of weird stuff-but nothing like the insane redhead who accosts her with a wild proposition. Penelope will get a million dollars if she has a baby with the strange woman's brother. With her mother dying from a mysterious disease, Penelope can use the money. Yet the terrified waitress is adamant that her womb and eggs are not for sale . . . until she meets her intended mate. He's impressively built, gorgeous, and red-hot, literally. He's a freaking immortal Sun God. For thousands of years, Kinich (Nick to his friends) didn't believe in fraternizing with humans, so procreating with them is definitely a no-no. But after one sizzling encounter with the beautiful, passionate Penelope, Nick begins to think he was wrong . . . until he realizes meeting Penelope was just another one of his crazy sister's schemes at manipulation. But now that he has Penelope in his life, he can't let her go. Especially because doing so means throwing her into the hands of his dangerous enemies.
