Suede to Rest

A Material Witness Mystery, #1

"Suede To Rest" was a magnificent cozy mystery! I loved everything this book had to offer. Pins and Needles were just a great addition to the story, I've always enjoyed a good story, but adding animals really make me love the story. Poly is a great character, she is a very strong woman. And even though she's being pressured to leave town, she stands her ground and doesn't let anyone tell her where she belongs. There is nothing I love more than strong characters!

I'm very surprised by how good this book was, being the first in a new series I was expecting it to have too much world building. But "Suede To Rest" really shines with how well it is written. Not to mention the mystery element of the story was great! I can definitely see myself enjoying this new series for a long time to come. And I cannot wait to see what happens next!
