"It's In His Kiss" was not as great a book as I'd hoped it would be. My overall problem with this Lucky Harbor novel was I couldn't connect with the characters. Don't get me wrong Becca And Sam were a great couple, but I had a really hard time feeling for the characters. I honestly don't know what was missing here.
Even Though I had problems with the characters I still enjoyed reading this book. Jill Shalvis's has a very fun and easy to read writing style that keeps me coming back to her books. Always after finishing one of her books I have a happy feeling because the book was just so much fun to read, and
"It's In His Kiss" was just as fun to read as all of her other Lucky Harbor books.
I'm so very glad that this series is continuing to make fun books that are very easy to read and love!
Becca Thorpe is trying to get away from her past, and her plan to get away has led her straight to Lucky Harbor. And right into a very irresistible surfer's arms.
Sam Brody isn't one for workplace relationships, but seeing Becca on a daily basis proves to be a lot more than one man's desire can handle. But when family problems threaten their relationship, will Becca and Sam's heated relationship last? Or will family ties pull them apart?
ONE KISS CAN LAST FOREVER

Boatbuilder and investment genius Sam Brody is a self-made man who knows how dangerous it can be to mix business and pleasure. But he can't resist offering Becca a job just to hear her laugh and have her near. Yet when her brother comes to town asking for help, will he tempt her back to her glamorous life in the city? Or do Sam and little Lucky Harbor have a chance to win Becca's heart?
