Desire the Night

Though this book was enjoyable I found the constant running around in circles that the storyline followed left me quite dizzy. I enjoyed the characters, Gideon and Kiya but the fact that these two were captured and then escaped about four times to be a bit tiring. I also didn't like that one of main bad characters in this book had an, to put it simply a highly predictable and anticlimactic end. Though "Desire The Night" had its potential and a couple of good characters I feel that the story could have been told just as easily if it had been written In under a hundred pages.

Locked up in a Witch's basement wasn't exactly the sort of thing Gideon had planned for his afterlife. But one foolish mistake led him to this point and there is nothing he can do to change it. This life he is living is well, hell with the random tasty morsel dropped into his cage. That is until Kiya a werewolf is given to him as food.

Kiya isn't your typical werewolf, she is the Alpha's daughter and she never thought her year away from the pack would lead to being confined with a vampire ready to drink her blood. Little do they know they are the key to each others survival. With the full moon on the rise and a building passion they just might have the chance of a lifetime to save more than one innocent life and the perfect chance at love!

Held captive in a basement prison, wrapped in silver chains, the vampire Gideon is too weak to fight the monster who enslaves him. For years, she's tapped his precious blood like a fountain of youth - sustaining him with human females she captures for his pleasure. But with the latest victim she brings him, he senses something intriguingly different. Something dangerous, yet oh so tempting.
