Darkness Splintered

A Dark Angels Novel

Wow! This story has a way of creating into your mind to the extent where you are trying to sleep and then find yourself picking up the book again even though it's already 4am. Risa is once again knee deep in trouble and going it alone without Azriel may be one of her worst decisions. I seriously enjoyed "Darkness Splintered"! I mean how could I not?

The only problem I had with this book is that it has a case of so much going on yet nothing really happens. I would have liked so more story progression but overall I'm still ecstatic about where Ms. Arthur is taking her characters, and I can't wait to see what lays in wait for the readers in the next book.

Saying loosing the second key to hell was a grave mistake is a bit of an understatement. Having angered some very powerful people isn't the only problem she is facing. Yet another betrayal from her father has left Risa feeling the pressure from all sides, not to mention the vampire council has demanded she get rid of Madeline Hunter to earn their continued support.

Realizing she has not choice Risa sets out to save her friends, off a master vampire, and prevent the next hell gate from being opened. It's a true race against time and nobody knows how it will end.
