This is a collection of correspondence between big companies and the author. The letters from the author were written to be funny eliciting either professional or funny letters written in response. Some companies refused to entertain shenanigans while others just had fun with it.
The book was a difficult read for me. The author is from the UK and I am not, making some aspects a bit harder to relate to. The book in all wasn't absolutely dreadful, but for such a short read it took me about a week to finish. My favorite correspondence was the Heinz letters with lack of "Fat Controllers". Whether an abundance of patience, professionalism, humor, or perhaps all three, hats off to the recipients of these letters.
Putting pen to paper with hilarious results, in Dear Coca-Cola Terry Ravenscroft homes in on the Food & Drink industry. Household names such as Heinz, Ryvita, Tesco, Cadburys and of course the Coca-Cola Company are the targets for his entertaining epistles, resulting in a laugh-out-loud letters book with a difference. And you don’t want to know what he asks Jacob’s Biscuits for! But you will when you’ve read his letters to them.
You will never look at the contents of your fridge or kitchen cupboards in the same way again.
