Edge of Nowhere

Book 4 in the High Plains Shifters series.

Sara Farmer and her sister Kate have been running from trouble for some time. This time they find themselves in a situation they can’t get out of. Luckily, Cactus Mackay and the other members of the Wolf Creek Pack are there to save the day. But Sara and Cactus get more than either bargained for when Cactus recognizes Sara as his mate. Will Sara’s past prevent them from following their natural instinct or will Sara take a leap of faith and trust in Cactus and his love?
It was hard not to fall in love with Sara. She was strong, caring and totally protective of her sister Kate. Sara’s need to protect Kate is understandable, but not really necessary. I can’t say more without giving away part of the plot. Cactus is everything that you want in an alpha male – strong, protective of his woman as well as gentle and loving. Cactus shows great patience and restraint with Sara, which is exactly what she needs given all that she and Kate have experienced.
Edge of Nowhere is book number 4 in Regina Carlysle’s High Plains Shifters series. While this yummy story can be read alone, I highly recommend that you read the other great books in the series as well.
