Music For Her Soul by Vallery Vance was a very realistic love story and that is what I personally loved the most about it. Relationships are not easy but when kids are involved there is definitely more work. Here we have two main characters Lena Spencer and Ethan Holden who happened to have a child together. Lena and Ethan have been separated for a while now and Ethan is now moving back closer to Lena. The attraction between Lena and Ethan can definitely not be denied even before Ethan gets back to town, you can tell he still has feelings for her.
While Ethan is determined to start over and get his life back on track, Lena on the other hand is still dealing with some issues from their past. With the help of her sister and niece, Lena has seemed to build a new life without Ethan but she is not as content as she seems. Music for Her soul is a true emotional rollercoaster and it is up to Lena and Ethan if they are going to choose to get off of that rollercoaster and be together.
I really liked this book; I read it all in one day! Music For Her Soul really shows how insecurities and assumptions can destroy relationships but also how faith and true love have the potential to restore relationships.
Single mom Lena Spencer is showing her sexy side for the first time in a life that has revolved around an aggressive pursuit of her PhD and learning to live without the father of her daughter, Ethan Holden. Returning to town after a ten month tour with the single goal in mind to reclaim Lena’s heart, Ethan gives his greatest performances--musical and otherwise.
Warning: This is the story of sexy musician whose talents have been known to melt women around the world and the one woman who is immune to his charms.
