I haven't read many F/F contemporary romances so my perception of a F/F novel is undiluted and fresh. On that note, reading a F/F (as a straight women) was a tiny bit shocking, and a very sensual experience. Ms. Grant easily draws the reader into the story making sure to outline the exact details in a comforting manner up front. As the reader delves deeper into the very different lives of the two main characters it is easy to fall in head first, Ms. Grant easily pulls you into their lives, their mannerisms, until you get to the point where you feel like you live with, and know these women.

The plot and story carry you along easily and the characters have delicious sexual chemistry. There were a few instances of clich‚ that I though were a bit over the top for sensual scenes but they didn’t detract from the steam or sensuality of the characters. This book is a short fresh read with steam enough to keep you heated and plot enough to keep you glued to the pages. As I read more and more of Ms. Grant’s work I become more and more riveted.
