Divine by Mistake
Ever since reading ‘Goddess of the Sea’ by P.C. Cast she has held a special place in my heart. I absolutely adore almost everything I have ever read of hers and this book is no exception. P.C. Cast has a way about writing that glues you to the page and makes you yearn for her heroines and heros and loathe the enemies in each and every story.
Shannon and Clanfintan are the most perfect and beautiful couple of all time. I love that these two get put together and fall in love. I rooted for them each and every page until the cover was closed. I love these characters with the passion that shames the Twilight groupies...trust me on this one. These characters face evil situations that are worse than death and still come out better for it.
The UK editions are absolutely gorgeous and they have the exact same material under the beautiful covers as the US editons. I have to say the UK covers are much prettier though. I love this book and it is the perfect start to a perfect series.
Book Blurb for Divine by Mistake
The only excitement Shannon Parker expects while on summer vacation is a little shopping. But when an antique vase calls to her, she finds herself transported to Partholon, where she’s treated like a goddess. A very temperamental goddess…
Somehow Shannon has stepped into another’s role as the Goddess Incarnate of Epona. And while there’s an upside – what woman doesn’t like lots of pampering? – it also comes with a ritual marriage to a centaur and threats against her new people. Oh, and everyone disliking her because they think she’s her double.
Somehow Shannon needs to figure out how to get back to Oklahoma without being killed, married to a horse or losing her mind…
