Pool of Crimson

The Blushing Death #1

Pool of Crimson is the start of an urban fantasy series that will have you hooked from the beginning till the end! I cannot wait to see what happens to Dahlia and her two love interests. I am leaning more towards Patrick, a vampire, but I also can see her with Danny, a werewolf. Ms. Sabol has done an excellent job of introducing a very memorable character that is a strong female lead, but she has her own issues to deal with. Like what is she really? Who should she be with, when she really can’t trust either one? She has a lot to figure out, besides trying to stop a crazy demon and vampire. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Being a vampire hunter nearly all your life is all that Dahlia Sabin has known. Good enough to be known as The Blushing Death, she has no problem killing a vampire or anything else. When she uncovers a plot by the master vampire of Columbus, she is forced to use whoever she can to stop this evil vampire from raising unleashing a demon on the human world. If she needs to trust a vampire who shows interest in her, than that is what she will do. When a new love interest comes into her life, she is torn. Dahlia cannot help who she is attracted to, even if she knows she shouldn’t be with a vampire. Torn between passion and deception, who can she trust and who must she kill!
