Magic Breaks

Kate Daniels, #7

Loved, Loved, Loved it!!! I finished Magic Breaks in one sitting, I just could not put it down. This is hands down the best urban fantasy series out there. Ilona Andrews knocks it out of the park again!!!

Magic Breaks starts off with a little back story. It was unique and I enjoyed it very much. However, having said that I would suggest you read the series in order to get all of the past history with the characters.

Kate knows Roland is on his way and she is waiting for S**t to hit the fan. But first she is having to deal with Hugh, who is trying to start a war with the pack. Well Kate is not having any of it and we know how fun things get when Kate gets protective!

As always a Kate Daniels novel is full of plot twists, multiple plots, and Kate kicking ass all the way around. With the help of her oh so sexy man Curran, Kate can tackle anything…even her own father! Yes we get to meet Roland! You will not be disappointed!

This is a great read from a wonderful author duo. Magic Breaks is another wonderful addition to the Kate Daniels series.

Book Blurb for Magic Breaks

No matter how much the paranormal politics of Atlanta change, one thing always remains the same in this #1 New York Times bestselling series: if there’s trouble, Kate Daniels will be in the middle of it…

As the mate of the Beast Lord, Curran, former mercenary Kate Daniels has more responsibilities than it seems possible to juggle. Not only is she still struggling to keep her investigative business afloat, but she must now deal with the affairs of the Pack, including preparing her people for attack from Roland, a cruel, ancient being with godlike powers.

As Roland’s long shadow looms ever nearer, Kate is called to attend a gathering of leaders from Atlanta’s supernatural factions. When one of the Masters of the Dead is found murdered by a shapeshifter, Kate is given less than twenty-four hours to hunt down the killer. And this time, if she fails, she’ll find herself embroiled in a war that could destroy everything she holds dear...
