Taken by Tuesday is the first chance I have had to read anything by Catherine Bybee. I was intrigued by the cover and the blurb. However once I started to read this awesome story I got more than even I bargained for. It was even better than I anticipated that it may be. This book had me completely engrossed from the beginning and holding on tight to my seat through the dramatic moments.
Judy Gardner has just graduated from college and is determined she is going to have a career above anything else. When she is offered an internship, she thinks she has gotten just what she wants. Her brother offers her the chance to stay in his fabulous home while she and her roommate get their feet on the ground and some money put away. This sounds great to Judy until she finds out that she may run into Rick Evans way more then she thought she would. Rick is the guy that Judy just can't keep her mind off of. These two have a chemistry so strong that it is nearly impossible for them to fight. They give it a good try for a while though.
When the drama and suspense start though and Judy is in danger there is no keeping Rick away from her. This guy will do everything and anything in his power to keep Judy safe. Rick is strong, intelligent man with a lot of resources at his disposal. This is a guy I would want in my corner if I was in harm’s way.
I really liked Judy, she is a strong woman that knows what she wants. Even when she makes a HUGE decision to help Rick, she knows she is doing the right thing. This girl has a lot going on. She also a high profile brother that tends to add a little drama to things.
I loved the chemistry and attraction between Rick and Judy. These two make a great couple. Now if they can just both stay safe long enough to see if they can make it work is the big question.
I really enjoyed this book. There is a lot of suspenseful drama and some wonderful romance. Two of the things I really enjoy in a book. I would love to read more by Catherine Bybee now that I have read some of her work. I enjoyed her writing style a lot. I found her style to be easy to read and her storyline to have a very captive effect on me.
This is part of a series but I had no problem reading it as a standalone so I don't think you will either. I wouldn't mind reading more of this series now though. Wow if they are half as good as this book I think I would LOVE them.
He’ll do anything to keep her safe…for the rest of their lives.
