Ryan and Cary have been good friends but Ryan has feelings that went beyond friendship for Cary. He hides his feeling but they are working together as a couple on a TV show so he is afraid as to how long he can hide it. When Cary decides to spend Christmas with Ryan’s family, everything changes from there.
It is very sad to read about the reaction of Cary’s family. His family is not very supportive of his decision and I can tell that it hurts him so much but I’m so glad he has Ryan. It’s like he lost his family but he also gains a new one through Ryan. It seems like Ryan’s family loves him as if he is one of them. Ryan’s mother is very sweet and his father is awesome. Well the truth is that his whole family is awesome. My heart breaks for Cary. Seriously, I do not know what I would do if my parents abandoned me because of who I am or something that I cannot change.
After reading this story, I realize how lucky I am to have the parents that I have. They are very understanding and supportive. It is a shame that Cary’s family treated him the way they did, but I think that he will be fine with Ryan. Their love will be bigger than anything so they can overcome what comes their way. The author does a very good job with this story. It kept me interested throughout the book. I was very interested in finding out how Ryan and Cary’s story would turn out. I expected Cary to be completely different. It surprised me when it turns out he also feel the same way about Ryan. I enjoyed this book because it has such real and lovely characters. The part I enjoy the most is the epilogue. It is so cute and sweet.
And of course I also love the Christmas theme since Christmas is my favorite holiday. I really, really would like to know more about their future life together as a couple. I hope there’s more books coming out about them. It ended too soon for my liking, but it was amazing nonetheless. I love the story, very heartwarming. This story is very different from what I’ve reading in the past. If you are in a mood to read a book about love, courage, and of course Christmas then this is for you.
This Christmas, actor Ryan Drake is pining. He may get to kiss gorgeous Cary Holloway on the set of their hit TV show, Space Academy, but he knows it'll never happen in real life. Charming Cary--the son of Hollywood royalty--is straight, as evidenced by his starlet girlfriend. But Christmas is a time for unexpected gifts, and Cary accepts Ryan's invitation to leave the palm trees behind and spend the holiday with his family at their cabin in the Great White North.
Amid the snow and mistletoe, Ryan struggles to keep his longing under wraps. Little does he know, Cary wrestles with his own unspoken desires, and his very identity. Surrounded by family and holiday joy, their warm friendship deepens. Will these two co-stars have the courage to brave Hollywood pressures and take their romance offscreen--or will it be only in their dreams?
