Victoria was visiting her cousin, Laura, in Texas and didn’t expect to find love. But after meeting Jack Cassidy, a charming and sexy cowboy, she knew she was attracted to him. But Laura had a different plan for Victoria that she didn’t know about. Laura’s plan was to get Vicky married to a wealthy oilman.
Jack Cassidy was a lonely cowboy who didn’t like women’s company after the betrayal of his ex-wife. He didn’t expect to meet Vicky and fall for her, but that was exactly what happened. As Jack and Vicky got closer, something unexpected happens. His ex-wife suddenly reappears in his life. Will their budding romance survive or will it crumple before it can grow into something more?
The Texas Cowboy started out as Vicky and her cousin, Laura, went on a shopping spree. An attractive and handsome cowboy caught Vicky’s eyes and she instantly fell for him. She felt attracted to him. She was so attracted to the point where she felt she should take a picture of him. Even though Laura told her not to take pictures of the cowboy, Vicky took it anyway and she got caught in the act. I think Vicky was really bold to take someone’s picture like that. He was a complete stranger so I would never take a picture even if he was really handsome and attractive. I would stare if I saw a handsome man but would not dare take a picture, so I think Vicky was bold and brave.
The cowboy, Jack came to their table to talk and Vicky found herself enjoying their conversation. After that day, Jack and Vicky found a way to stay in touch with each other for they want to keep seeing each other. As their relationship grows, Jack’s ex-wife came back into his life and messed everything up.
The story ends with so many unanswered questions, but I did enjoyed this book. It was short and a quick read. So if you are looking for something quick, I recommend this book. What I liked the most about this book is that it’s a clean romance. They have a few kisses, which were very romantic to me. So if you’re looking for a clean read then this is the book for you.
