Celine goes through a horrible experiences. She loses her husband and child in one day. She still has nightmares of the terrible day, but will she finally be able to move on as new people come into her life?
Celine is an awesome read! What a beautiful story. Celine and Trevor go through a lot before they can be together blissfully. It is a tough journey but it is worth it in the end. I enjoyed reading everything in this book. The writing style is amazing and the story is even more amazing. I was very satisfied after I read it.
Trevor and Celine set the pages on fire. Roth is really good at writing the love scenes. It is sensual, hot, and passionate. I could feel their love and I have to admit it makes me a little jealous of their love. It is my dream to find a man who loves me more than anything. Since I haven’t found one I guess I have to rely on more romance books. I’ve read many genres since I am an avid reader, but I will never get tired of reading love stories.
The epilogue was a bonus for me. I love reading about what happen to the characters after many, many years. I love where Roth ends it.
I also really liked the setting of the story. I don’t read historical books as often as I used to, but I am glad I picked this up. My time was well spent on this book. If you love to read historical romance, don’t forget to pick this book up.

His intense gaze seemed almost a physical touch. She held her head at a proud, haughty angle, not flinching from his bold scrutiny. In seconds, Trevor regained his cool, casual air. A lusty grin caught at the corners of his mouth, and fire danced in his eyes as he bent ever so slightly at the waist, tipped an imaginary hat, and strode casually into the house. She would never be the same...
