This book has two love stories. Enjoy them both.
This is the last Christmas of ever being happy for Christy. She’s been trying so hard to be cheery and in the Christmas mood. However, her children want only one thing and that is their dad. She knows the separation is hard for them but she was tired of the loneliness with Alessandro. The passion is there and probably always will be but she wants more than passion. Alessandro is so cute in the book and has no idea like any other man what is wrong with Christy. He doesn’t want the separation and will do anything he can to get his wife back in his arms as well as their children.
In a secondary love story we have Miranda. She has a big problem right now and it isn’t her baby. No the problem is Jake. She knows he means well but he is just too much to handle. She thought she had love but Jake is making her see how naïve she was in her young life. Can she learn to love again with a man like Jake who takes life each day as it comes?
Wish Upon a Star by Sarah Morgan is one of my favorites and I hope it will become yours. I loved that Alessandro will not take no for an answer. He still loves Christy and like a man will do anything she wants to keep the marriage going. Now Jake is the opposite of Alessandro for this man gives all his heart and concentration to his woman. Though they are in love with opinionated, strong and independent women they show they can compromise as well. The children were great trying very hard to keep their family together and sweet throughout the end. Sarah Morgan did a great job in showing us that miracles do happen if you really believe it with your heart and soul. I just loved it.
Love is in the air this Christmas! Christy was hoping to skip Christmas this year. Her kids have other ideas - they've put their dad's name at number one on their Christmas list. So it looks as if Christy will be hightailing it up to the Lake District to play happy families with her ex! Snow-capped mountains and roaring log fires - Alessandro's home is like walking into a Christmas card. Is it really safe for her to spend Christmas with her dreamy, funny - no! - entirely infuriating ex-hubby? Miranda has completely the opposite problem. Being single and pregnant at Christmas was certainly not her wish come true. She doesn't believe in miracles, but then resident hunk Jake sweeps her off her snow-covered shoes. Come Boxing Day dare she dream that Mr Sex-on-Legs might be for more than just Christmas? `A picturesque and charming tale' Star magazine on Angels in the Snow
