Jodi Williams has been burned by love. She thought she found THE ONE. But lost him to who she thought was her best friend. To make matters worse she is living in a small town trying to make a name for herself as a reporter. She could have had it easy in Chicago working in a big time paper but no she had to go a town called Turtle Creek to make it happen. She knows God has a reason for everything yet can’t understand what this reason is. All she wants is to find real love but instead all she finds is heartache. So it comes as a surprise that a vet like Josh Thomas is interested in her. Not knowing how to feel with this love for Josh she leans on God for support and faith. She knows love exists yet she is afraid to have hope at this point in her life. Is Josh the answer for her?

Josh Thomas is a prime catch for a town like Turtle Creek. Everybody knows him and loves that he’s finally found Ms. Right. The thing is not everybody is happy about Jodi Williams moving to Turtle Creek. Della, his nurse has had her eyes on for him for a while. She knows he loves her in a way. Seeing them together breaks her heart but she wants Josh for her. Jodi is a nuisance to her and will do everything she can to separate them. Everything happens for a reason and she knows this is the time to show her love to Josh.

Robin Schope did a beautiful job in this inspirational romance. I loved that Jodi is a goal setter. Once she sets her mind on something nothing can sway her. She is determined to prove to her step-dad that she can be a great reporter. Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday for new love but she feels hopeless at finding love. Josh is definitely the man she needs in her life. I loved that even though this was a romance the author did a villain but not a murderous one. Everybody will love Jodi and Josh and maybe a little of Della too. The Valentine Edition is a great book and definitely shows that people do deserve a second chance whether in love or in life.

Book Blurb for The Valentine Edition

The last place in the world Jodi Williams wanted to live was Turtle Creek, Wisconsin, but when her stepdad refused to put in a good word for her at the Chicago paper, she had no other choice than to accept the first job offer that came her way. Josh Thomas was Turtle Creek's veterinarian, but he also happened to be single and quite handsome. His life was pretty peaceful until a pretty, young stranger came to his clinic with a dog that had been hit by a car. While his first reaction was to care for the injured animal, he couldn't help a few glances at this unique young woman. That day was one of quite a few new beginnings. Jodi came to the aid of an injured animal, earning her the respect of a handsome man, she started a new job as a reporter for The Turtle Creek Newspaper, and she gained the wrath of the vet's receptionist. Della had her sights set on Joshua, and she wasn’t about to let anyone come between her and the man of her dreams.
