The Edge of Morning

Book one in the Sentinels Series

Sierra Hart is home. That is how she always felt when she went to her grandfather’s rustic cabin. Her parents or fiancée didn’t understand what could interest her up in Maine. All she knows is that her grandfather left it to her in his will. She is sad that she is going back to not see him there but live there. Sadness doesn’t even top what she feels when she sees a wolf staring at her cabin. Not just any wolf but one that she feels somewhat in lust for. She knows it’s weird to even feel feelings for a wolf but something about its eyes are enchanting her. Not only has she had to worry about the gray wolf but also the businessmen who keep threatening her for her cabin. Sierra knows her grand pappy would never have sold it to some corporate men. Or did he?

Luke Spencer has found his mate. At least he thinks he has but is scared of what Sierra will really think of him. He knows she is a city girl yet she looks right at home when he first meets her with a rifle in her hand. Luke knows he should stay away but one night of passion in her arms keeps bringing him back. He knows he shouldn’t pursue any more passionate nights before telling her about his true heritage but he can’t. Somehow he must help her from the businessmen even if it means showing his true race to her in the spur of the moment. Can she get past it to love him?

Okay everybody knows I love Desiree Holt yet I was disappointed in this book. I mean I waited for it to get released and once it did I started reading waiting for her imagination and kick ass heroines to come out. Yet nothing. There wasn’t that much storyline between these two just quick hot sex. Hard to believe but yes it just didn’t pique my interest. This is the first in the Sentinels series and hopefully will see more of a storyline with the next books.
