Perfect Timing

Daisy is on a vacation and not just any vacation. She booked a whole week at a hotel for a Sixties event. Daisy has been looking forward to joining in the fun Sixties time period. The thing is when she gets there the only thing she sees in the sixties is her in hippie clothes. Everybody else is in their real sixties or over. Embarrassing as it is she is also part of a who did it charade. One minute she is debating whether to check out and then she is in a nun's outfit wondering what the priest is wearing under his robe. He is not just any priest but the owner of the whole hotel. Here is a sexy hotel manager who is making her want to sin in every way but also making her go crazy about their relationship. Can she survive the over sixties event?

Jake can succeed in his job. The only test he needs to overcome is Daisy. As a confirmed bachelor and playboy he has had his share of women but none have been like Daisy. One minute he thinks she is klutzy but then when he gets to know her he knows she is the one for him. The thing is he is so close in getting the hotel and finally beating his brother. He has to prove to his father that he is responsible now and can bring in more income to the hotel than his brother. Jake wants more than ever to show Daisy he wants her in his life and that his feelings for her are real. Can he get both things in his life or will he lose one of them?

This is a first book that I have read from Barbara Elsborg. When I got the book I thought it was going to be another of those mystery books but I got a whole lot more. I loved the hilarious things that Jake made Daisy do and her reactions. From the beginning you think this is just a regular vacation but it is so much more than that for Daisy. The charades they do in the who done it acts were great to read and even made me wonder who was the murderer. Perfect Timing was a fun book to read and though there were times I hated Jake for leading Daisy it is worth reading.

Book Blurb for Perfect Timing

When Daisy books a Sixties extravaganza on the internet, she thinks hippies and free love. Only she misses one tiny word in the advertisement and ends up at a weekend for over-sixties at Bedlingham Manor.

When sexy hotel manager Jake casts Daisy as a nun in the murder mystery, she is ready to scream and call the weekend off. But then Jake shows up dressed as a priest and he can't wait to uncover the red lace beneath the nun costume. Jake and Daisy don't expect to fall in love but they discover that their weekend of hot sex might be much more than they bargained for.

Bless me, Father, for I have sinned…or I'd really like to.
