Morning Star

One word that best describes Andi McFadden is workaholic. Her life is centered on work and nothing else. The one time she is set loose is the one night that comes back to haunt her. It was a night of passion with Harley and they had the greatest sex ever. She has never forgotten that night. Harley not only made her see stars, but he is an actor. Here whole life has been centered around movies and she doesn’t need another actor thinking he’s god. Yet Harley is determined to show her that he’s more than an actor…or is he? Can Andi maintain a business relationship with him or will he break through her tough exterior showing her their love life can be more than just movie effects?
Harley Joseph is not your usual actor. Everybody sees him as an arrogant actor doing anything he can to succeed. One night with Andi and he wants to be like the man he used to be. She brings out the youthful side of him and the dangerous side. Andi keeps denying the attraction is still there but he knows their passion is stronger. Just when he thinks he’s making a little headway Andi gets scared. As an actor he is known to perform any act but somehow with Andi he is finding it hard to maintain his cool. Can he prove to Andi that he is not like all the other actors that his love for her is real?
This is not your typical romance but one that shows us the behind the scenes production of a TV series. I loved that Harley sometimes was serious in his acting but took on dangerous adventures. Now Andi she is definitely a woman who needs a little romance in her life. Her mother was hilarious in this book and the whole attraction between Harley and Andi was great to read about.
Roslyn Hardy Holcomb has written a wonderful book with such a great mix of characters. Morning Star was hard to put down and it was very hard to choose just one character to love. Thanks Roslyn for a wonderful story!
