With Jared she not only yearns to be part of a family but also must not fall for him. As long as the mad men is ought there Whitney knows there will never be a chance of happiness for her. Jared tries to make her feel welcome even though he wants her house. She is not sure how she can deal with the possibility of someone hurting Jared but must get away from him.

Jared Martin is a man who is used to getting what he wants. Yet when Whitney Cooper gets the one house he needs for his ranch he is stumped. For the first time he has met someone who is not falling for his money or charms. Not only does Whitney complex him but interests him a lot more than it should. He knows she is hiding something but won’t tell him no matter how many ways he tries persuading her. His family loves him, his niece loves her and each time he spends time with her his heart is starting to melt towards her. Can he help Whitney from the man that wants her for himself?

This is the first book I have read from Marilee Crow and won’t be the last. The storyline of the man who is after Whitney might have been left out but added to the attraction between Whit and Jared. There was more story between these two, which was great for it showed us a lot of Jared. Here is a man who is used to getting his way but meets his match with Whitney. The only thing I didn’t like was there was not enough suspense to it. This was a great book and I will definitely be on the lookout for more from Marilee Crow.

Book Blurb for Montana Madness

When Whitney Cooper inherits a house and five acres in Montana, she jumps at the opportunity to begin a new life. A life without fear.

But her house is attached to a ranch belonging to the Martin family. And the reception she gets from Jared Martin is far from welcoming. When accidents begin to threaten her life she wonders if she's done the right thing. Could this be worse than what she was running from?

Jared Martin has a habit of jumping to conclusions where Whitney Cooper is concerned. She is not turning out to be what he thought her to be. The last thing Jared needs or wants is the pull of desire he feels whenever she is around. He is certain she is hiding something about her past and he is determined to find out what it is. Can Jared keep Whitney safe? And is his heart in danger of breaking once again?
