Yet knowing that someone wants him dead is making him wonder who else is in danger in his life. Can he protect her and her son from the person out to get him before it's too late?

It's been years since Joceline Perry has felt his kiss, his passion and five years since she has held the secret in her heart. She knows it is wrong but she is doing it to keep their relationship professional. From afar Joceline has always loved Jon Blackhawk, but she knows what kind of man he is. She has been by his side through thick and thin seeing the type of women he's gone out with knowing she can never compare to them. Yet one night is all she had and now she must live with the reminder of never being with him again. Just when she thinks she can separate her love for him someone wants him dead. Joceline knows it is dangerous to be with him knowing he might find out her secret and hate her someday. Can she risk a week with him of passion and love only to end up heartbroken again?

One thing about Diana Palmer is she is consistent in keeping her romance all the way to the end. Others might say they're disappointed but for this reviewer I loved it. I liked that we see how dense and crazy Jon is to not see what is in front of him. Now Joceline is like any other woman but she is not going to let a man like Jon bully her around. The chemistry they have is instant yet each one is afraid to let go and just love each other. Diana Palmer did a great job as usual and I'm not sure why so many have been disappointed in this book for it showed her best talents ever. You see her depth in writing passion, suspense and most of all romance. You get them all in one. Great job.
