Evan Jorgenson has never forgotten about Cassie Hamilton. The one night he had with her is what pulled him through his tour in Iraq. The dreams he has of her are nothing compared to the actual feeling he has in her arms when they reunite again. He knows he should stay away from her but he can’t stop wanting to be together. All Evan knows is that since being back from Iraq and seeing Cassie again has made him realize how lonely his life really is without love. Can he help Cassie from whoever wants her back to prove to her he is the man she needs in her life?
Meltdown, a tale of two people who shared one night then for some reason get separated only to be reunited in an unusual way. Evan is back from Iraq more troubled than ever and still in love with a woman he left years ago. Now that they are reunited he is trying his hardest to stay away from her in the beginning. This I found kind of strange. I mean here is the woman he’s dreamt of, the woman that got him through Iraq and he is trying to not fall in love with her again. I mean Cassie is perfect for him but even after Iraq Evan deserves a little happiness in his life.
This was an interesting storyline, but I felt that something was missing. I needed more background on both the hero and heroine. I also was looking for more than just passion and that’s where all the feelings in this book seemed to be coming from.
