What can you do when you are attracted to a spy like yourself yet cannot deter away from him? Why for Lady Sophia Donovan it is so easy. She knows as a spy you have to guard yourself but when she near Marco she wishes that she was not a spy but someone normal. Lady Sophia has had it hard and to be around Marco without showing her sexuality it is hard for her. Another thing she has to worry about is Jake and a man from her past who wants her dead. Can she deal with the attraction towards Marco and find out the real person who wants her dead before it is too late?
When I started reading this book one word came to mind "what". One word of advice do not read this before you read the other books in this series. The first one you want to read is of course In Trysts. Though this book is short I did like Lady Sophie but times she sounded annoying. There wasn't enough background about Marco who I really wanted to know more about. So, make sure you read the first book or you will be pretty lost in this one.
Lady Sophia Donovan has everything a woman could wish for-a new-found family, the hard-earned respect of her peers in the corporate world, loyal friends, and an exciting lover.
Marco Willis is a spy. Tall, dark, handsome, and oh-so-virile, he's long been accustomed to bedding women and securing information while between the sheets. But Sophie is unlike any woman he's ever known. With her open, warm, and loving nature she not only gains Marco's trust, she captures his heart. But is there more to Lady Donovan than meets the eye?
When a series of terrifying events threatens Sophie's life, things really begin to heat up. Marco, the man she's grown to love, is determined to protect her at all costs. How can he hope to win, though, when his opponent is a dead man, and his only weapons are Sophie's secret past and a bunch of buried memories? In Flames-a scorching hot read that you won't be able to put down.
