Jazz Tremaine has seen many things and so far has had one regret in her life. She is a witch who has lived in the mortal world for centuries. Yet through all that time she has only had one man in her life to make her forget about caution. That man is vampire Nikolai Gregorivich or Nick in this world. She knows by heart that a witch and a vampire should never be together yet something about Nick makes her want to break the rules. Who can blame her? He's gorgeous, makes her feel cherished and most of all is he is there when she needs him. As a witch who chauffeurs other paranormal creatures someone sets their eyes on her. Not just any one but someone who she thought was dead years ago. This person is someone who almost literally killed Jazz. Now that he is back he is determined to once and for all finish Jazz. Years ago he wasn't powerful but now that he's had all that time to gain power it is going to be a big challenge for Jazz. Can she finally kill this person off? Will she pick up where she left off with Nick?
Nick Gregorivich is a vampire of old times and has had only one woman get under his skin. Her name is Jazz Tremaine. She is not your typical witch. She is one who has passion, a wild side and most of all one who has always had his heart even though he is a vampire. He knows what makes her tick and who pisses her off all the time. Nick knows that this person that has somehow come back from the dead is the main reason vampires are missing everywhere. He doesn't know how it is possible but he knows if he is with Jazz this person will come out of hiding. Can he risk Jazz's life for him to become a hero? As more vampires go missing Nick knows this is the time for them to join together in a fight for their lives. If they fail then all paranormal creatures will be no more. Can he convince Jazz that they are meant to be together as partners and life partners?
I loved this book and man Nick wow. Talk about a vampire with issues in his life. One big one of course is a spitfire of a witch Jazz Tremaine. These two have a unique past one with passion, lust and the hot romance they keep denying is there.
From the first chapter you can tell they belong to each other even though Jazz tries her hardest to stay away. I loved that all these people come together both mortal and immortal to make quite a great story. Jazz was great to read including her other witch sisters. I'm hoping they have their own story as well. Nick is quite yummy. I can't wait for more of this talented authors books.
Jazz cant decide whether to scorch him with a fireball or jump into bed with him
Jasmine Tremaine, a witch who cant stay out of trouble Nikolai Gregorivich, a drop-dead gorgeous vampire cop on the trail of a serial killer
The sizzling love affair between Jazz and Nick has been off-again-on-again-for about 300 years. Mostly off, lately. But now Nick needs Jazzs help, and while Jazz and Nick try to figure out their own hearts and resist their ever-increasing attraction, they must steer clear of a maniacal killer with super-supernatural powers. They are surrounded by a hilarious cast of oddball paranormal characters, including Norma, the chain-smoking ghost who haunts Jazzs sports car, Dweezil, her ghoul of a boss, and Fluff and Puff, a pair of bunny slippers with sharp teeth and short tempers (watch your ankles!).
