I just finished an amazing story titled, “Hard Ride” that everyone should check out for so many reasons!!!!!!! This book is filled with a great story about a man and woman who both had a troubled childhood but come together through horrific circumstances and end up having each other’s back. Which is what it is all about!!!!!! Supporting the people you love and care about whether that be a lover or friend. In this case, it was a woman named Haven that had run away from her father and Dare, who was the president of a motorcycle club. The very same motorcycle club who specialized in providing abused woman with new identities and a chance for a new life far away their old life.
The author was able to link this story to another series but this story can clearly be read as a standalone. All the elements of writing a good story were in this book. The story was written in way that anyone could easily follow with some incredible twists and turns that had me reading page after page.
The characters were amazingly well developed. The chemistry that developed between Dare and Haven was absolutely off the charts. Watch out ladies you will be blushing!!!!! Some of the other characters were also amazing and full of charisma as only sexy bikers can be.
You could also read this story and just feel how the characters felt for each other. I was just hoping the whole time that Haven would find someone who cared for the good person that she was on the inside and out. Which leads me to saying that I just loved the climax. What out for Haven.
I also kept wondering what the real story was with Haven’s best friend Cora. Cora was the girl who ran away with Haven. Lastly, I wanted Dare to find peace and happiness!!!! This story absolutely earned five stars in my book!!!!!!! I can’t wait for more from Laura Kaye.
Brotherhood. Club. Family.
They live and ride by their own rules.
These are the Raven Riders . . .
Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon rides hard and values loyalty above all else. He’ll do anything to protect the brotherhood of bikers—the only family he’s got—as well as those who can’t defend themselves. So when mistrustful Haven Randall lands on the club’s doorstep scared that she’s being hunted, Dare takes her in, swears to keep her safe, and pushes to learn the secrets overshadowing her pretty smile.
Haven fled from years of abuse at the hands of her criminal father and is suspicious of any man’s promises, including those of the darkly sexy and overwhelmingly intense Ravens’ leader. But as the powerful attraction between them flares to life, Dare pushes her boundaries and tempts her to want things she never thought she could.
The past never dies without a fight, but Dare Kenyon’s never backed down before . . .
