Cutter Cay, #3

Logan pulled terrified, thrashing-for-all-she-was-worth Daniela out of the ocean and kept her from drowning. In return she lies-like-a-rug to Logan and he's not one who takes liars well. Now Logan feels compelled to find out just what Daniela is hiding. His attraction to her is immediate and intense, but he seems to scare her. He doesn't like that and attempts to find out what has happened to her, to keep her so afraid. Daniela is on the run from her ex, meets up with her previously unknown cousins, and finds herself in more danger than she can handle on her own. She hopes Logan can help her, but she can't give him all the facts. She can only warn him of the danger…

I would most definitely put Cherry Adair on my list of favorite romantic suspense authors. Vortex is fast-paced and full of action and adventure. You'll find suspense and danger, along with a great team of characters who all compliment each other well. A fun, trusting, caring group that you'll admire and like right away. The sexual attraction between Logan and Daniela will have you feeling warm-and-fuzzy right up until you're disgruntled each time they get interrupted. The treasure-hunting aspect of the story is entertaining, but it sometimes keeps the hero and heroine distracted. The first two books in the series are Riptide and Undertow, so if you've missed either of them you may want to go play catch-up. Ms. Adair writes her stories to keep your interest up and your mind and body humming. Don't miss Vortex because it's a must read!

But the closer they get, the deeper she falls for him, not realizing that Logan is hiding a secret of his own.
