I'm sure this will be hard to believe considering how popular her novels are, but this is actually my first Sherrilyn Kenyon read. I must say, I'm quite impressed. Now that I know what I've been missing, you can bet I'll be paying closer attention to my new favorite author!
Seth couldn't be a more tortured hero, but he's always been there for his damsel-in-distress, Lydia. The Guardian is a well-written, uber-romantic, squeeze-your-already-palpitating-heart paranormal romance you just have to read. It grabbed my attention immediately and the pages practically caught fire with my enthusiasm, as the pages flew right by. The misunderstandings between Seth and Lydia tugged at my heart, but it made the story that much more romantic. Their love always overcame the evil surrounding them, even as the demons nipped at their heels. Wow, if ever there was a keeper, this one is IT! Absolutely delicious!
