Brody

The Circle Eight, #2

I loved this book! The verbal sparring is an aspect I love in any romance story and Brody and Olivia made it totally sexy and fun. Their sexual attraction and bouts of smoking hot sex ramped up the story for me in a big way. I think Olivia is great showing her determined need to find her missing brother and Brody is always there for her, even when he has to tell it like it is and not pamper Olivia. Their interaction is funny, heartwarming, and sweet. The hero and heroine depend on each other in times of trouble and they enjoy each other in times of pleasure (whoa, very sexy!). This story is well written and I look forward to many more books in the series.

Olivia's brothers are away and she's in charge. Ranger Brody Armstrong arrives to give the family news about her missing brother, Benjy, but he only wants to speak to Matt. Olivia stands up to Brody and he gives her some of the information, but doesn't think a woman needs to hear all the unsavory details. He doesn't know just how stubborn and strong Olivia is. She follows Brody and ends up saving his life by killing two men who are out to hurt him. Brody reluctantly gives in and tells Olivia she can be his partner. They set out to follow up on a lead to find Benjy which will put them in closer contact than they bargained for.
