Angel Betrayed

The Fallen, #2

Even though Angel Betrayed is the second book in The Fallen series, I had no trouble reading it as a stand alone book since I didn't get the chance to read the first. I enjoyed the book from the very first page and it kept me guessing until the very end. Ms. Eden knows how to make the sex sizzle and her hero and heroine darn near ignite. The paranormal aspect kept my imagination flowing and the great sex had my temperature rising. I loved the hero and heroine and though at times they both felt weak, they were stronger than they realized. There's plenty of action, danger, lust and love. You'll never find a dull moment and if you're anything like me, you'll be anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

Sammael was the Angel of Death and Seline, the daughter of an angel and an incubus. She's being forced to kill Sam to survive and to get closer to him she pretends someone is trying to kill her. Sam knows Seline is not as innocent as she acts and knows something is going on. He agrees to help her, but they don't trust each other and the tension is high. The hounds of hell are after Seline and as Sam agrees to protect her there's plenty of lust and danger coming their way.
