Monica is a succubus. She needs to have sex with others to keep her -self alive and healthy. The little issue that she has is that she is also a fallen angel. She tries her hardest to take the souls that are already bound to be going to hell. So during the day she is a barista and at night she works in at strip club so that she can get her fix.
One of the problems that have come up is that she found out that a few of her fellow succubi have been dying. So her strip club boss has had her put under some protection. Her angel friend also agreed that she needed to be watched over. She was also having issues of keeping her powers. So between the succubi getting killed and her losing her powers, Monica was starting to get a little scared.
Throughout the book, Monica and her friends/bodyguards were investigating the murders and trying to make sure she does not die in the process. The big surprise to Monica was who came back into her life from her past. She never expected to see him again; she also did not expect to start to fall in love with him again.
By the end of the book, the true murder came to light. It completely shocked Monica. She also found out a few things about herself as well.
I fell in love with this book from the beginning. I cannot wait to read more in the series.
By day, Monica is a barista in a local Las Vegas cafe. It doesn’t pay a lot, but it puts her up close and personal with her sexy boss, Drew. Unfortunately, that’s as far as a succubus can go unless she wants to take his soul.
Monica needs mind blowing sex to sustain her, and she finds her victims every night at a local strip club where she’s an exotic dancer. But when her powers begin to diminish and her fellow succubi start turning up dead, all bets are off. Monica realizes she’s the one immortal who has a chance in hell of making things right…
