Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress

Matchmaker Trilogy, #3

By far this book is one of the best romantic novels that I have had the pleasure of reading in a long time. Romain is a delightful, fun entertainer filled with surprises within the pages of her latest release Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress.

This novel actually surprised me by how great it is. Of course not that I am stating that Romain is not a wonderful author because that would be a lie. In fact I vastly enjoy most of the novels that the author pens and this book was of no exception. What surprised me the most was how rewarding the romance shined within the pages? Without a doubt this book is pure romance and I loved every minute that I spent reading it. In fact I was a little sad to see it end, but I was without a doubt pleased by what I discovered.

This is a great adventure tale with the most respectful scandals as well as hints of humors. Everything about this novel made me want to praise it. If I had to pick only one factor that stood out to me beyond the topic of romance was how well Romain penned this story. It's brilliant, sharp and witty and has something for most readers.

I've been reading Romain for a little while now but I think I have found my favorite book of hers at least for now. I'm strongly encouraging you as a reader to give not only Romain as an author a chance but Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress as well. You just cannot be disappointed by what you uncover in this story!

One good proposition deserves another...

Heiress Augusta Meredith can't help herself-she stirs up gossip wherever she goes. A stranger to Bath society, she pretends to be a charming young widow, until sardonic, darkly handsome Joss Everett arrives from London and uncovers her charade.

Augusta persuades Joss to keep her secret in exchange for a secret of his own. Weaving their way through the treacherous pitfalls of a polite world only too eager to expose and condemn them, they begin to see that being true to themselves is not so long as they're true to each other...
