Accidentally Catty

The Accidental Series, Book 5

Dr. Katie Woods, a divorced 41-year old veterinarian finds a 200 pound cougar on her front porch. During her examination, she is scratched, which causes some odd side effects. Not only that, but when she returns to the cage she put the cougar in, she finds a hot, young guy in his place.

It looks like a job for OOPS (Out in the Open Paranormal Support). OOPS is the group the accidental friends (Marty, Wanda, Nina and Casey) have started to help out other people who have found themselves "accidentally" part of the paranormal world. The friends head to Upstate New York to see if they can be of any assistance and so starts book 5 of the "Accidentally Paranormal" series.

I have been a fan of Dakota's since The Accidental Werewolf, book one of this series. I loved all of the books in the series, but I think this book is my favorite. Not only does it have lots of laughs, but it has a bit of a "mystery" to the story, too. When the now-human cougar wakes up, he has no memory of who he is or how he got there. Katie finds herself attracted to him, but doesn't want to become a "cougar" herself. Little does she know she just might-in more ways than one!

Accidentally Catty is very funny, cute and sexy. Wanda and Nina get into some trouble, demon-on-call, Darnell is back to lend a hand, and we are introduced to some fun new characters.

I am an animal lover, especially of cats, so I knew I would like this book. I really enjoyed the Twitter references, especially Nina's "Tweets". I hope to see more of Katie in upcoming books in this series.

Book Blurb for Accidentally Catty

A purrr-fectly scintillating new novel from the national bestselling author of Accidentally Demonic.

Katie Woods never thought she'd be forty-one, divorced, and thrust back into the dating world. To start fresh, Katie uproots her veterinary practice to upstate New York-not exactly the hottest dating scene on the planet. But when an unconscious cougar appears at her clinic, Katie's newly single life gets a much needed jolt of the supernatural kind.

After Katie examines the cougar and leaves him caged overnight, she's shocked to find a big strapping specimen of young, hot man in its place. And when the scratch she got during the exam results in some unnatural side effects, Katie has more to deal with then her animal attraction to a much younger guy-she has to figure how to stop herself from becoming a cougar of the four-legged variety.
