Witness to Passion

Guarding Her Body

Fallon is having another great birthday, NOT. She’s getting coffee for her demanding boss and her boyfriend dumps her by Twitter. And she witnesses a gang land murder, which makes her late and she gets fired from her job. It’s all in a day for Fallon. But no it gets better. Her best friend brother Shane owns a security firm and puts her under protection after she is almost murdered twice. That would be great if she wasn’t in love with Shane. Since forever, he has been ignoring her. But Shane has his own problems and close quarters has a way to bring them out.

I loved Fallon! She came from a rich family that was never much of a family. She’s been trying to make it on her own and doing the right thing by testifying. She has sass and a great outlook on life.

Shane is a super alpha ex-solider. He feels something for his sister’s best friend, but he has stayed away from Fallon. He’s a take charge kind of guy with his own hang ups. But he has a sweet side. The two are a combustible combination.

I’m looking forward to reading more from this author and this hot and exciting series.

Book Blurb for Witness to Passion

Under his protection and in his bed...

For Fallon Wayland, birthdays are just another reminder of her looming spinsterhood. This year is shaping up to be no different. Fired from her job, dumped by her boyfriend, and oh yes, witnessing the murder of a high-ranking lieutenant in the local crime family... Yeah, birthdays suck.

Ever since a disastrous, hot-as-hell kiss years ago, soldier-turned-security specialist Shane Roarke has avoided his baby sister's reckless - and gorgeous - best friend. Yet when her life is threatened after she witnesses a gang hit, he insists on protecting her...even if she objects.

The two are forced to hole up in a safe house. Alone. Passion long denied erupts between them, burning away their inhibitions. But even as layers - and clothes - are peeled away, danger closes in. Shane and Fallon might finally have a chance at love...if they survive long enough to see it.
