Seductively is the second in the Playing for Hearts series.
In this book Dom is our hero. He’s a Russian hockey player with a problem. His problem boils down to American Women. They are destroying his life and lively hood. One woman can help save his him. Diana is the only women that completely brushes him off. So for two weeks while she’s on Vacation she will act has Dom girlfriend and save him from other women. For Diana it means money to open her Bed and Breakfast in Cottage Grove. This sounds easy. But when feeling get in the way and time is running out will we have a happy ending?
Seductively is a fun easy read. This is book 2 and I have not read book 1, but I plan to. This book is not your usual sports book romance. Our hero is really bothered by all the attention he receives and finds a novel approach to end it. For him it means that the means must justify the ends. The really comes into play when things heat up. You feel the connection between the Dom and Diana. Readers will enjoy the sparks they ignite with each other.
The book is fast paced and keeps your interest as the hero and heroine both figure out there lives and each other. Seductively is a great read for all hockey fans as well as readers who enjoy contemporary romance. I’m looking forward to the follow-up books in this series.
Independent and goal orientated, Diana Spenner has set her sights on buying the old Ferriday House and running her own bed and breakfast by the end of the year. Nothing will sway her from her plans, especially the famous hockey player Dominic Chekovsky, who can't take no for an answer. But, when Dominic strolls into Cottage Grove and begs her in his thick Russian accent to keep his adoring female fans away from him, she's not going to turn him down-because the job pays half a million dollars.
Dominic Chekovsky's life is out of control. American women go crazy around him. They invade his personal space, leave their husbands for him, and make his life hell. Except, Diana. She's the one woman who always turns him down, no matter how many times he asks her out on a date. Now he's desperate. He needs Diana's help to figure out why she's the only female immune to his charm, so he can continue to play hockey in the United States. Maybe when Diana finally allows herself to say yes to having sex with him, he'll be over his wild fascination with the one woman who always tells him no.
Warning: Sexy Russian accent, big ego, and thick, hard thighs on ice. Go Sharks!
