Hard Target

An Elite Ops Novel, #1

Hard Target is a novel of suspense and romance. Ann is running away from her ex-husband with her sick son who needs transplant surgery when Leland finds them. Leland is an ex DEA agent. He would have never gotten involved if Ann’s ex hadn’t stormed in welding a bat and captured her son. What is a man supposed to do when Ann is told to bring the ransom money to a cartel location? There is more going on than kidnapping and ransom drops. But until they get to their location Leland and Ann don’t know the details. Of course this is a romance and Leland saves the day and gets the girl and her son is rescued.

Hard Target is a perfect story of a mother’s love, acceptance and forgiveness. Ann is a strong female and mother who shows her love in this story. Leland is a strong alpha male who can handle all the problems that comes up. Hard Target is a perfect combo in a romantic suspense story. The bad guys are taken care of and a great romance happens between our heroes. I defiantly will read the next books in this series. I’m so looking forward to the next book!
