Those who come to the town of Eternity Springs find healing, although it may take some of them longer than others to appreciate the town and what it offers. One of those people is Gabriel Callahan, a man who had fled his old life after a great loss and is lost, angry and numb.
Things change when Nicole "Nic" Sullivan, the local vet, enters his life. Not that Gabe would consider those changes to be for the better. One night, when Nic and Gabe give in to what has been a progressively growing attraction, could either spell disaster for them or bring them a lot closer together.
For me, Angel's Rest is the best kind of book. The story is one of hope, love, and finding your way out of the darkness without pushing the message down the reader's throat. The characters, with their issues, quirks, foibles, and imperfections, make them approachable for the reader and come alive on the pages.
Angel's Restis a great start to a series and I would recommend it to the reader who is in search of a good way to spend a few hours.
Beloved author Emily March returns with a warm and uplifting new novel about a small town with a big heart. Welcome to Eternity Springs, a little piece of heaven in the Colorado Rockies.
Gabriel Callahan has lost everything that mattered. All he wants is solitude on an isolated mountain estate. Instead, he gets a neighbor. Vibrant, no-nonsense Nic Sullivan is Eternity Springs’ veterinarian, and she has an uncanny plan to lure this talented architect back to the world of the living. First with a dog, next with a renovation project, and, finally, with a night of passion that ends with a surprise.
Now a man still raw from tragedy must face the biggest struggle of his heart. Can he forgive himself and believe in the power of second chances? Dare he trust in the promise of a future and a brand-new family here in Eternity Springs?
