Blood In Her Veins

Nineteen Stories From the World of Jane Yellowrock

In today’s world of e-books and anthologies, it is hard to keep up and keep track of a favorite author or character. Faith Hunter and her publisher have done something I wish more would do; collect the stories in chronological order and publish them in print. I was overjoyed when I heard this book was in the works and it was everything I hoped for and more. As a fan of the talented Ms Hunter, I had read a couple of the stories when they were published in e-book. The majority, however, were completely new to me and gave depth and color to Jane’s relationship with Molly, gave new insight into Ricky Bo, and gave us a look at a maturing Angie Baby.

Nineteen stories in the world of Jane Yellowrock, be still my heart. Collected and published in print, with two brand new novellas, it is a wonderful tide-me-over until Shadow Rites comes out in April 2016. 5 stars for Blood in Her Viens!
