The Westerfield Affair

“The Westerfield Affair” by Renee Rose is a sweet, erotic romance that readers will find entertaining and enjoyable.

Harry is a socially awkward hero, however, this adds to his likability and makes him rather endearing. I like that the heroine doesn’t pine away for the hero, rather the hero must make the effort to catch the heroine.

Kitty, is a delightful heroine filled with spunk and independence. Harry and Kitty’s love story is sweet, and though the romance is erotic and very steamy, it does not take away from the very loving relationship the two start to build.

The conflicts in this story are mainly between Kitty and Harry, and caused by their misunderstandings, but the story is short enough that it doesn’t need added conflicts and complications. I also find the main characters being the only really developed characters appealing.

The story is short and the plot revolves around Harry and Kitty’s romance so well developed secondary characters are not needed. Kitty’s brother adds a bit of humor and fun to “The Westerfield Affair,” and he is enough to satisfy my need for another character. Though short, Rose makes sure to give “The Westerfield Affair” a full story arc, and every element a story really needs, such as conflict, resolution, and charming characters. “The Westerfield Affair” is a fun, sweet, and erotic Regency Romance that though, to- the- point will leave readers satisfied.
