“Our Little Secrets” is the first book in Merry Farmer’s Montana Romance series. Charlotte is a quick and witty heroine readers will be fond of from the very beginning. The town gossips bring humor to the story, and the secondary characters, such as Phineas Bell and Christian Avery are charming. Michael West is an unusual hero for a western romance being a shopkeeper, rather than a cowboy, and that aspect is what drew me to reading “Our Little Secrets.” Still, he comes off a bit awkward rather than confidant and his friends, such as Eric outshine him. The secrets surrounding Michael and Charlotte are intriguing and kept me reading, and the ending was both satisfying and exciting. “Our Little Secrets” is a quick and fun story romance readers will find heartwarming.
Charlotte is running from a past she longs to forget.
